I'm glad Gov Ted Strickland and the others in Columbus view pharmacy as a vital business entity in the state of Ohio. Dropping our dispensing fees will really help to keep pharmacies in business.

As long as pharmacy chains are willing to give away Rx's for $4 and/or FREE do you really blame the state for also asking for a fee discount? We have no leg to stand on.
The chains have devalued our profession to that of just glorified clerks. I don't feel sorry for the chains crying about this at all. In fact they deserve it!
Unfortunately it will hit our salaries right where it counts. Especially as more and more RPh's come on board with all the new schools propping up.
